here comes the flood

argh. it completely flooded here tonight. by the time i left my house, it was nearly up to my knees in most parts of it. i got as much as i could off the floor, but i'm sure a lot of it's lost. lots of furniture ruined and if the rain doesn't let up long enough for it to drain off, it will all be under water. i'm spending tonight (at least) at my parents' house. they have a second story, so at least we have somewhere dry to sleep. their house is all flooded, too. if we go downstairs, we're wading. i brought my cats here, but they are freaked out and hiding under the bed in this room. damn you rain! damn you all to hell! if all my computer equipment isn't ruined, i'll post some of the pictures that i took (if they turn out) sometime later. the streets here are like lakes right now. well, i'm tired from moving furniture and clothes and stuff to try to save it, so i think i'll go pass out now. hopefully something in my house made it through. ok bye.
